CLARITY
I want you to feel grounded in the science and the lineage, and confident in the beauty of facilitating 1:1 breathwork sessions.
You will learn the foundations needed to have a solid grasp of What Is Happening in breathwork. Whether for your own sense of expertise in your body, or so that you can communicate to others how breathwork functions as a therapeutic practice. You will have the knowledge needed to integrate experience, understanding, and your intuition; this in itself unlocks a new path to dance with this technology.
And absolutely, for those who choose to broaden their practice, a group facilitation add-on module will be offered for graduates of this foundational program!
What does the training include?
Breath mechanics and nervous system literacy
Trauma-aware, consent-based facilitation
Clear 1:1 session containers
Cueing and music selection, pacing and presence
Embodied practice and supervision
One online theory weekend, one practical in-person weekend
Post-training practice and integration
Printed manual for your reference and notes
TESTIMONIAL
"Thank you so much for holding the space, and making this experience so beautiful. This effortless way you have to transmit your knowledge but also your passion is something I truly value in you."

Style
The style of facilitation is based on the containers I've developed over years of practice. Weaving experience with ongoing continuing education—and intuition—this training is distinctive, and I'm very much looking forward to sharing it with you.
The main breathwork taught in this training is based in conscious connected breathing, informed in part by the lineage and teaching style of David Elliott, and shaped through my own multi-layered facilitation approach.
This style of breathwork is rooted in pranayama, an ancient breath technology originating in yogic traditions over 2,500 years ago.
You will also learn tools for how to ground and anchor, to gently create the optimal environment for yourself, or anyone you work with, to ease into a profound non-ordinary state of consciousness.
Sessions emphasise pacing, relational presence, and nervous system awareness, with clear structure and ethical containment rather than intensity or performance.
You will be able to…
FacilitatE
Confidently guide one-to-one breathwork sessions with presence and care
RegulatE
Recognise and respond intuitively to nervous system responses in individual clients
INTEGRATE
Articulate what breathwork is doing, both experientially and physiologically
Anabel Zenith is a healer, ritualist, and spiritual teacher whose work bridges somatic practice, esoteric arts, and embodied inquiry. An American of Japanese descent, she has been living and teaching in Berlin since 2012.
With an academic background in women’s intellectual history, installation art, and ancient mythologies, Anabel brings a deeply contextual and historically informed perspective to her work. She holds certifications in somatic movement instruction, ELDOA, breathwork facilitation, and is a Reiki Master, with thousands of hours of experience guiding individuals and groups across a wide range of settings.
Her work is rooted in creating holistic — for the whole person — containers that support connection to the body, the nervous system, and subtle perception. Through teaching, mentorship, and ritual practice, Anabel invites students and clients into a grounded exploration of the somatic, esoteric, and spiritual; ultimately in service of deeper self-connection and relational presence.

FAQ
Who is this training for?
This training is for people who feel drawn to working with breath in a grounded, ethical, and relational way, and who want to learn the art of facilitation.
Participants may already work in adjacent fields such as bodywork, therapy, coaching, yoga, ritual, or somatics, while others are stepping toward facilitation for the first time.
A genuine interest in embodied practice, self-reflection, and nervous system awareness is more important than other prior certifications.
How is this training structured?
The training is organised into three parts:
An online theory weekend covering: foundations, physiology, nervous system literacy, ethics, and session structure including pacing and music. This training is also about the art and craft of facilitation
One in-person practical weekend, held in a small group, focused on embodied learning, supervised practice, and integration
A post-training practice period, where you complete required practice and reflection for certification
What is the teaching style like?
I strive for a teaching style that is attuned, embodied, intuitive. While there is structure and theory, the main emphasis is on developing discernment tools rather than rote memorisation. We learn how to really listen to the body, the atmosphere, and the nervous system, and respond appropriately rather than just applying techniques mechanically.
You will be learning more than just techniques; the breathwork itself is only one part of the training. We will also be learning where your natural gifts and talents are for facilitation, how to hone your intuition, and be grounded in the theory so that your instinct can shine through whilst facilitating.
What kind of facilitation will I be trained to offer?
You will be trained and certified to offer 1:1 Breathwork sessions. The training focuses on working with a single nervous system at a time; learning how to pace, listen, respond, and hold a clear container for individual clients.
Group facilitation is taught separately, as it requires additional skills and responsibility. This will be a smaller, supplemental training offered later in 2026.
What will the in-person practical feel like?
The in-person weekend is hands-on: you’ll practice giving and receiving 1:1 sessions, receive feedback, and have space for your body to integrate what you’re learning.
Because these groups are small, there is ample time for questions, supervision, and nervous-system settling instead of rushing from exercise to exercise.
What comes after this training if I want to continue?
Graduates may opt for:
What if I’m not sure yet whether I want to facilitate professionally?
That’s completely okay. Some participants join to deepen their understanding and embodiment first, and clarity about next steps often emerges through the training itself. There is no pressure to rush into professional work!
Is mentorship available if I want more support?
Yes. Optional mentorship support is available for those who would like additional supervised practice, case discussion, and guidance as they begin working with clients. This is especially supportive for those new to facilitation.
